The BIG CONVERSATION |

Our final Big Conversation has been organized for
Wednesday 13 October and we hope that as many irrigators as
possible can take advantage of this opportunity. To round off the experiences so far encountered, we are planning a site
visit to Clymo’s dairy at Calivil to discuss irrigation modifications and
then on to Echuca for a conversational lunch aboard the Pride of the
Murray. Guest speakers will be David McKinna and Catherine Wall sharing
their thoughts on being competitive in a global market. So that you can sit back and relax and do some serious chin wagging,
Lakes Coaches will collect passengers along the way (Barham – Kerang –
Durham Ox – Pyramid Hill – Calivil) before we make our way to Echuca. Tour
host extraordinaire, Monica Dullard, will be sure to test the wits of our
other special guest speakers enroute. Strap on those seat belts and enjoy the conversation, information plus
a lot of fun along the way! Feel free to contact me if you require further details or if child care is a problem – we will do our best to assist where we can. To register, click here download a copy of the invitation and registration form and return it ASAP.

Times
are definitely changing whether we like it or not.
It is important to take time off farm to consider your options and start that important conversation with your partner. Should we buy more property and expand? What improvements can we make? Can we diversify or change enterprise completely? Is now a good time to exit the industry? Join fellow irrigators and their partners for some practical conversation and inspirational ideas that may help you decide what direction you want to head in.
